We have hosted the application portablelinuxsound in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about portablelinuxsound:

This is a linux-sound-playing package for C++ or Ada
apps that can asynchronously start and stop music loops,
as well as initiate transient sounds.

It plays WAV, VOC, RAW or AU files, and is very portable
among those linux distros with the command-line
ALSA player named "aplay".

It is suitable for any C++ or Ada linux application
that needs music or sound loops; eg. games.
