We have hosted the application pingalert in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about pingalert:

PingAlert check multiple hosts in parallel using multi-threaded workers instead of checking one by one. This is especially useful for small and medium businesses monitoring many servers, routers, switches, firewalls, Internet connections, cloud services, VPN endpoints, and branch office devices

When a monitored host fails continuously and reaches threshold, a DOWN alert is sent.
No repeated DOWN alerts sending when it remains DOWN.
When the host becomes reachable again, a RECOVERY alert is sent.
