We have hosted the application nadserialcontroljavaapp in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about nadserialcontroljavaapp:

a swt java application to control NAD amplifiers from a PC via serial rs232 connection.

Features:

• Controls a NAD C 355BEE (and other models) via RS232 serial line
• controls: volume +/-, on/off: speaker A, speaker B, Mute, Power
• controls inputs: tape2, tuner, aux, video, disc, cd (forgot tape monitor, sorry)
• automatically syncs GUI button states with amplifiers state
• not controllable : bass, treble, tone defeat, balance, soft clipping (NAD Restriction)
• provided jar works with windows
• suns comm.jar, rxtx jar, rxtx dlls have to copied (see readme) into jre env - otherwise the jar does not work !
• : COM1 hardcoded (at the moment, sorry)
• uses native library RXTX-2.1-7 for serial communication
