Two #Linux #distributions which run as #screensavers for #Microsoft #Windows. One contains #educational #software aimed roughly at UK Key Stage 2 (8-11 years); the other contains many #open #source #games. If wanted the material can be written to a USB storage key (at least 16 GB size) and used to #boot the PC. The git repository also contains a script which will build the material to run under #Windows #Subsystem for #Linux version 2. The release1 directory contains the two screensavers described above. The release0 directory contains earlier versions of the screensavers, some dating back to 2005 when they were featured in an IBM Developerworks article.
