We have hosted the application ket in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about ket:

A text editor for maths. Simple algebra should be faster and more intuitive to perform on a computer than on paper and should look like maths. Write small fragments in plain text; perform simple click-and-drag algebra with the mouse; and explore more involved algebra through keyboard shortcuts. When done, save as plain text files or export to LaTeX and HTML.

Features:

• Ket offers a fast way for a person to perform algebra on a computer.
• Equations are mostly displayed in conventional mathematical notation.
• A simple, plain-text notation is used to edit equation fragments.
• Documents are loaded and saved in the same text format or exported to LaTeX or HTML.
• A rich set of Vim- and Readline-like keyboard commands are provided.
