We have hosted the application erasedata in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about erasedata:

Erase drives or files by completely overwriting with random data. The source code is in a small, single C file that builds and works on Windows and Linux.

Features:

• Write random data to file or drive multiple times.
• Verify what is written to the file or drive.
• Builds for Windows, Linux and most Unix-like operating systems, with a single, compact C source file (only 295 lines).
• Very fast (more than 2x faster than 'shred' on Linux).
