dns failover

We have hosted the application dns failover in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about dns failover:

This program pings an F5 BigIP shared IP (or other shared IP) and compares the response to a user-defined "Preffered" IP to determin if DNS should be modified into Failover mode. It waits 2 minutes and checks again.

Audience: System Administrators.
User interface: Non-interactive (Daemon).
Programming Language: Perl.
