dedup util

We have hosted the application dedup util in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about dedup util:

dedup util is a lightweight open-source files packing tool. It is based on block-level data de-duplication technology, and can reduce the data capacity to save storage space. The key feature is no block data collsion with md5 hashkey.

Features:

• append files to an archive
• remove files from an archive
• no md5 collsion problem, but loss some performance
• both variable-length and fixed-length segmentation
• block-level compression
