clrdbg

We have hosted the application clrdbg in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about clrdbg:

ClrDbg can open a dmp file, or connect to a running process, and display information about the objects on the heap and their class information (such as field definitions and method signatures), threads and their call stacks. ClrDbg uses the Microsoft.Diagnostics.Runtime.dll (ClrMD).

The user-interface allows the user to drill-down by clicking on hyperlinks in a grid view.

Features:

• Summary screen displays objects grouped by type and sorted by size.
• Click on links to drill down into the objects.
• Ability to see the other objects that point to a particular object.
• Common structs (like DateTime, TimeSpan, Guid) are reconstructed back into actual objects.
• Long strings can be visualized in a separate user-control as plain text or html/xml.
