barchiv online with Winfy

We have hosted the application barchiv in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about barchiv:

This is a kind of vcs or archive tool mainly desinged for binary data.
It is similar to vcs tools like git, hg, git-annex or boar.
Main design goal ist
- to deal with hugh binary data files
- partial pull/push handling
- immutable data archive
- simple metadata format of archive
- due to immutability other backup tools like rsync or copy could be used alternatively
- platform independent


User interface: Console/Terminal.
Programming Language: Java.
