We have hosted the application backuppc in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

It uses hard-linking and compression to efficiently store multiple backups of the same files and offers a web interface for administration and restore. BackupPC is suitable for environments where centralized, disk-based backups are needed.
