We have hosted the application ardweighno in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.
Quick description about ardweighno:
A load cell bridge can be driven by two Arduino Nano outputs configured as an H bridge. An AC coupled op-amp amplifier is used to amplify the signal and synchronous detection used to measure the signal.Timer 2 is used to drive the bridge and timer 0 is used to trigger the analog to digital converter.
The hardware consists of a Nano, a single general purpose op-amp, a feedback resistor, coupling capacitor, compensation capacitor and bypass capacitor.
Measurement speed is 122 Hz with four measurements per cycle. 512 measurements are averaged resulting in a stable and precise output.
A more complex version using a chopper input and a six wire connection is also shown. This version should be more stable and precise and requires only a few more resistors and two H11F1M analog switches. These switches are near ideal with no charge injection and optical isolation and are ideal for measuring microvolt level signals.
Features:
- Ultra simple, low cost Arduino load cell interface.
- Uses a single commodity CMOS op-amp.
- USB powered.
- High precision relative to it's simplicity and fast measurement speed.
