This is a specialised utility that works with the astronomical digital Video (ADV) standard (http: //tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/adv-standard/) and converts individual Video frames to FITS files.

ADV files can be recorded by devices such as the
Astronomical Digital Video System (ADVS) - http: //www.astrodigitalvideo.com.au/.
